River levels remain high in response to heavy rainfall today. Flooding is possible overnight and into tomorrow, Tuesday 16/09/2025. Flooding is forecast to affect low lying agricultural land and minor roads in the valley floor from Otley to upstream of Ulleskelf, including Tadcaster. More heavy showers are forecast overnight, but river levels are expected to fall tomorrow. We are closely monitoring the situation and do not expect to issue any flood warnings at this time. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourse and do not attempt to walk, drive or cycle through flood water. Take care and consider activating your flood plan if you have one. This message will be updated by 9:00am on Tuesday 16/09/2025, or as the situation changes.
