This is Flood Warning Update. River levels are starting to recede but are still high. Areas most at risk include River Glade, Dukesfield, Squirrels Cl, Stour Way, Links Dr, Burford Cl, Cedar Av, Chestnut Av, Beech Av, Sycamore Cl, River Way, Hurn Way, Wilton Cl, Stourcroft Dr, Crossways, De Redvers Court, Oak Av, The Grove and Stourvale Ave in Christchurch. Further rain is expected tonight and tomorrow. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Refer to local authority websites for road closures. This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 30 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
