Flooding expected. Take action now.
This is an update to the current Flood Warning. River levels remain high and responsive to further rainfall. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Lower Dorset Stour, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Redhill and Wheatplot Home Site. Further rainfall is expected Friday and over the weekend, which may keep river level high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Continue using any flood protection products you may have and acting on your flood plan if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. This message will be updated by 4:00PM on 13 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
