Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High river levels on Saturday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 07 February 2026 , following 20mm of rain in the last 24 hours.
Flooding could affect Hunny Hill near Hunnycross Way and come out of bank at Foxes Lane, impacting the aquatics centre. The river may come out of bank, affecting footpaths and areas next to the river at Old Westminster Lane. Levels are expected to rise again, as up to 20mm of rain is forecast on Saturday 07/02/2026. Following light showers (7mm) on Sunday, further rain is forecast for Monday and Tuesday. If this is realised, the river will respond again with flood risk likely to remain into next week.
We are clearing blockages from debris screens . Water levels will reduce rapidly once blockage has been removed.
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have . Particularly properties next to the river at Vicarage Walk.
