Flooding expected. Take action now.
Heavy rain has fallen in the River Welland catchment over the past few days. As a result the river levels have risen and remain high, affecting areas in Medbourne. We anticipate the levels to stabilize and gradually reduce over the next couple of days. Stay safe, and be aware of your local surroundings. Avoid riverside paths and please stay away from river embankments and flood water. We are monitoring the situation, and have staff in the area checking flood defences, clearing blockages, and assisting the emergency services and council. This message will be updated again as the situation changes.
