Flood warning

This Flood Warning has been issued due to the high tide forecast for this afternoon, 12/03/2024.
Flooding is expected at Victoria Park including Weir Lane, the car park, bowling greens and sports pitches from 13:45 on 12/03/2024
We are expecting higher than normal tides over the next 2 days and as a result we may issue further Flood Alerts and Flood Warnings. 
We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updated messaging during this period of high tides. 
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. 
This message will be updated by 18:00 on 12/03/2024, or as the situation changes.
