Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is expected on 20 December 2025 from around 8pm
River levels in the Mevagissey Stream are high following heavy rain this evening.
Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 8pm on Saturday. The main areas of concern are properties and low lying areas around The Close, Willow Car Park, Sunny Corner Car Park, Chapel Square and Market Square. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.
River levels are forecast to be at their highest between 8:00pm and 10:00pm.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Activate any flood protection products you may have . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
