High river levels on Wednesday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 11 February 2026 as a lot of rain (250mm) has fallen in January and February.
Flooding is continuing to affect North Walls Recreation Ground and River Park. Winchester City Council have installed a number of flood barriers around Park Avenue, River Park, and Water Lane. Small amounts of rainfall are forecast for the next two days. Up to a further 30mm of rainfall is forecast on Friday (13/02/2026). River levels will remain high for the next few weeks.
We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities .
Don't put yourself or others at risk . Flood water could be deep. Winnall Moors Nature Reserve may be closed.
