Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels are forecast to rise in response to the current weather conditions. Areas most at risk are around Middle Level, including Pondersbridge, Ramsey St Mary's, Benwick and Welney. Further heavy rainfall is expected over the 12 hours which will keep river levels high and could also lead to some surface water problems. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 9am tomorrow, 06/08/23, or if the situation changes.
