Flood alert

River levels remain high on the River Colne.

Flooding will continue to affect low lying land near the River Colne, particularly around Moor Lane Cottages, Bushey Hall Lane, Carpenders Park, Frogmore Cottages, Lower High Street, Rickmansworth, Batchworth, Watford and Oxhey.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area.

Please monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.

This message will be updated by 10am on Thursday 14th March, or as the situation changes.
