Flood alert

Following heavy rainfall from Storm Chandra, river levels remain high and may lead to flooding.
Further rain is forecast over Wednesday and Thursday. Catchments are saturated and rivers are expected to respond.
We are closely monitoring the situation and will issue further Flood Alerts and Warnings if necessary.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
This message will be updated by 1:00PM on 29 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
