Rising river levels today may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 28 February 2026 and into Sunday 1 March.
River levels are continuing to rise in Tamworth, and will do so throughout Saturday and into Sunday as the rainfall travels down the Tame and Anker watercourses to this point.
Flooding may affect low-lying land and roads between Water Orton and Tamworth including the Bourne Brook at Fazeley
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .
Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car . Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
