Flood warning

Property flooding is expected. River levels are rising on the Mill Brook as a result of heavy rainfall.

Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected imminently this morning 23/09/2024, especially in areas closest to the river in Blewbury. Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We expect river levels to rise steadily into the early afternoon. Our staff are checking and clearing trash screens.

We are monitoring the situation. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated by this evening, 23/09/2024, or as the situation changes.
