The present series of Spring tides has peaked and we are no longer expecting a risk to homes and businesses. A flood alert however remains in place for the wider area. Tide levels will now be dropping away to neaps and no impacts are expected after today. There may still be some areas where flood water is present until it can naturally drain away. Continue to take care on waterside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We will continue to monitor levels closely.
