Flood alert

High tides tomorrow may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible between 6:45am and 8:45am tomorrow, Monday 28 September. We expect to see water on roads and paths to beaches and on the quays in Brancaster, Burnham Overy, Holkham, Wells and Blakeney. The detailed forecast is for a peak level at Wells of 3.65mAODN at 7:45am, on Monday 28 September, which is 0.26m above tide tables, Wind Force 3, Northerly. Tides are expected to be higher than usual, due to the forecast weather conditions during spring tides. We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid coastal roads, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 10:00PM on 28 September 2026 or as the situation changes.
