The risk of flooding from the North Sea at Hartlepool Headlands has now reduced. Tide levels are reducing and there is no surge or strong winds forecast. No further flooding to coastal areas is expected, however there may still be debris on roads that have been flooded. The Hartlepool to Skinningrove flood alert remains in force for this part of the coastline. For a 5 day flood risk forecast please see the GOV.UK website or for a weather forecast see the Met Office website.
