Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides, strong winds and large waves today may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 04:30 to 11:00 and 19:00 to 22:30 tomorrow, 05/02/2026.
Locations most affected will be coastal roads and footpaths along the North Sea coast from Whitby to Filey, including Scarborough.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
