High river levels today may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 18 December 2025. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Congresbury Yeo, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around roads at Wrington and Iwood. Further rain is forecast this evening but conditions are expected to improve overnight with a dry day forecast for Friday, 19 December 2025. River levels are expected to fall overnight, and the risk of flooding expected to reduce tomorrow. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and clearing blockages from debris screens. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions and take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 19 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
