Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

High tides and forecast weather conditions tomorrow morning may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible from 3:00AM to 5:30AM on Wednesday 28 October. 
Locations most affected will be coastal roads and footpaths near Alnmouth and the A1068 Main Road. The flood gates at Warkworth will be closed at around 6:00PM this evening as a precaution. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.  
This message will be updated by 10:00AM on Wednesday 28 October or as the situation changes.
