Flooding expected. Take action now.
Levels on Winestead Drain remain high due to heavy rainfall from Storm Henk. Areas most at risk include properties along Winestead Drain, from Winestead Bridge to the Humber, including Patrington Haven. Further showers are forecast for the next few days and levels are expected to remain high. Please put your flood plan into action. Avoid using low-lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. We are operating pumps and are clearing screens in the area. Our incident rooms are open and we are closely monitoring the situation. This message will be updated by 04:00 PM on Thursday 04/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
