Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

Forecast rising river levels overnight may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible on 14 November 2025 and overnight into Saturday 15 November 2025. 
Locations most affected will be land around Pickering Beck and it's tributaries including Raindale Beck, Levisham Beck, Gundale Beck, Costa Beck, including properties of Kirby Misperton and Pickering. Further rainfall is expected overnight and levels may remain high into Saturday morning. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
