Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

High tides tomorrow morning may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible from 08:15am to 12:15 pm on Tuesday 3 February. 
Areas most at risk include Poole Harbour and tidal stretches of the Lower Frome and River Piddle. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Poole RNLI of 1.47 mAODN at 10.15 am Tuesday 3 February, which is 0.55 m above tide tables, with Easterly force 5 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.) 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have and avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded. 
This message will be updated by 2:00PM on 03 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
