Flooding expected. Take action now.
This Flood Warning has been issued following the heavy rain overnight which may now lead to property flooding. Flooding to properties is possible from 3:30am this morning, Thursday 21 October. Properties bordering Chinbrook Meadows Park, close to the River Quaggy are most at risk. River levels are expected to have dropped by 7am today and any flooding will have ceased by this time. Further showers are possible during Thursday but these are not currently expected to lead to further flooding impacts. Please take action to protect yourself and your property if you believe you are at risk, try to avoid contact with flood water in the vicinity of Chinbrook Meadows. We will be closely monitoring the situation and will have staff working to keep rivers in the area clear. This message will be updated by 10am this morning.
