Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Forecast high river levels tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 09 December 2025 due to heavy rainfall this evening and overnight.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Corfe Stream, Swan Brook, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around the Corfe Castle and Swanage areas. Flooding is possible in the early hours of Tuesday morning as river levels are expected to rise rapidly after forecast intense rainfall this evening, overnight and throughout Tuesday. The forecast is expected to improve from Wednesday with little rainfall expected.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and clearing blockages from debris screens.
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have and avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
