Flooding expected. Take action now.
Levels on the River Aire continue to fall. As the lower Aire washlands remain high, we are supporting the internal drainage board with their pumping operations to reduce the risk of property flooding on Haddlesey Road.
Scattered showers are expected throughout the night with heavier rainfall expected from around midday, 21/02/20, so river and washland levels may rise further. We expect to see levels throughout the catchment remain elevated into Monday.
We continue to monitor the situation from our incident room. To report property flooding, please call our incident hotline on 0800 80 70 60. Put your flood plan into action and stay away from flood water. This message will be updated by 09:00 on 21/02/20, or if the situation changes.
