Flooding expected. Take action now.
The river level on the River Aller is rising rapidly due to rainfall today. This Flood Warning has been issued because flooding is expected from 5:30pm this Sunday afternoon, the 25/02/2024.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Aller, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around property at Lower Allerford and Higher Allerford road.
The rainfall is expected to continue into this evening, but drier weather is forecast for Monday and Tuesday.
We will continue to monitor the rainfall and water levels closely. Consider acting on your flood plan if you have one, and activating any property flood protection products you have. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions, and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 2pm on Monday, 26/02/2024, or as the situation changes.
