Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are rising at the Polesworth gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected today, 09/02/24. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the Shuttington Road, Amington Old Hall, Amington Park, Filey, Selker Drive and Whitley Avenue areas.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please call 999 if in immediate danger and avoid contact with flood water.
This message will be updated by tomorrow morning 10/02/24, or as the situation changes.
