Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen at the Rugby river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is possible to begin between 13:00 and 15:00 today Monday, 06/01/2025. We expect flooding to affect properties around Bretford, Vicarage Farm and Meadowside.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to rise until 20:00 today, Monday 06/01/25.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and move family, pets, possessions, valuables and cars to safety. Have a bag ready with vital items like medicines and insurance documents and call 999 if in immediate danger.
