Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Rugby gauge as a result of the recent persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible tonight, 18/02/24. Flooding could affect properties and roads in the Bubbenhall Road area.
Little further rainfall is forecast for the next couple of days. We expect river levels to remain high overnight, and through to tomorrow morning (19/02/24).
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths and bridges near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated tomorrow morning (19/02/24), or as the situation changes.
