Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high but are beginning to fall at the Rugby river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. We expect flooding to affect properties in Priory Road in Marston and Hawthorne Close, St Margarets Avenue, Bluemells Drive and Main Street in Wolston.
No further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels are falling but still pose a flood risk.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and move family, pets, possessions, valuables and cars to safety. Have a bag ready with vital items like medicines and insurance documents and call 999 if in immediate danger.
This message will be updated by 10:00 tomorrow, Tuesday 07/01/25, or as the situation changes.
