Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Heavy rain has fallen in the Bain catchment over the last 48 hours. This has caused the River Bain to rise. This is a precautionary Flood Warning message due to a breach on the left bank of the River Bain. Low lying areas near to the Bain in Tattershall and Coningsby are already flooded and there is potential for properties to be affected this afternoon onwards. We will be closely monitoring the situation and provide updates if the situation changes. Minimal further rainfall is forecast, and therefore river levels are expected to reduce later today. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council.
