Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

River levels remain high on the Beane and Dane End Tributary due to recent heavy rainfall.

Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Beane and Dane End Tributary on Sunday 18th February, with low lying land expected to be most affected.

Further light rainfall is forecast this evening and tomorrow, Monday 19th February.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.

This message will be updated by 10am on Monday 19th February, or sooner if the situation changes.
