This is an archived message. The status has changed more recently.
This Flood Warning has been removed.
River levels have now fallen below the level expected to cause property flooding. However, a Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area, so flooding may still affect roads and low lying land close to the river, particularly in the Staplehurst area. Further rainfall is forecast tomorrow, Saturday 16 January.
We continue to monitor the situation. Please stay aware in case further warnings are issued.
