Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

Rising river levels this evening and overnight may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from 11:30 PM tonight 26/01/2025 until late morning on Monday 27/01/2025.

Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Biss, Paxcroft Brook, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the Westbury Road (A363) at Yarnbrook, Hawkeridge Road at Horse Bridge, Shallow Wagon Lane at Heywood and West Ashton Road at Trowbridge.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and checking rivers for blockages. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.

Don't put yourself or others at risk.
