Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Rising river levels today may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 15 December 2025 .
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads around the Rivers Bollin, Dean and Pedley, Birkin and Mobberley Brooks and their tributaries. Further rainfall is forecast this afternoon and rivers levels are expected to continue to rise.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
