Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected from the morning of 07 February 2026 following rainfall today.
Locations most affected will be Areas most at risk are properties at The Waterings, and St. Johns Avenue in Braintree, and Bridge Street and Guithavon Valley in Witham.
We are closely monitoring the situation . Further rainfall is forecast today.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
