Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains today, Saturday 16/03/2019. Areas most at risk are North Dean Business Park to Park Road, as well as low lying land and roads. Levels are continuing to rise and properties could be affected by the rising waters. The levels are expected to peak just around 3p.m. but will remain high throughout Saturday afternoon before they start to fall in the early evening.
The Leeds Incident Room is open and our incident response staff are closely monitoring the forecast.
Please avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated this evening, 16/03/2019, or as the situation changes.
