River levels are rising on the River Calder at Stanley, Methley, Mickletown and Whitewood Mere due to heavy rainfall.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Calder at Stanley, Methley, Mickletown and Whitewood Mere, with low lying land expected to be most affected.
Flooding is expected from 07:45 PM on 20/10/2023 with a peak at 01:30 AM at a level of 4.1m.
Further rainfall is forecast overnight.
River levels are expected to remain high.
Our incident rooms are open and we are closely monitoring the situation.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
