High river levels may lead to flooding.

River levels are high on the River Cherwell. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today, 5 March 2026, including areas around Lower Heyford, Kidlington and Thrupp. The forecast is for a dry day today with further rain through much of tomorrow. River levels are falling, and are expected to continue falling over the coming days. Levels remain sensitive to further rainfall.
