Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Flooding of homes and roads is expected into the early hours of Thursday 21 October. Heavy rain falling across the East Devon area has caused the River Clyst to rise rapidly. Flooding of property is imminent
Low lying properties, roads and land around Clyst St Mary will flood first.
Install flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers. Do not walk or drive through flood water. Avoid low lying roads and footpaths, which may be flooded.
We are monitoring river levels and have initiated the procedure to fit the stop logs. We will update this message Thursday afternoon or if the situation changes.
