Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood Warning

River levels have risen as a result of Storm Ciara. Consequently, flooding of property/roads and farmland is expected around 08:00 Sunday 09/02/20 to Areas adjacent to River Conder, Whitley Beck & Ou Beck in Galgate, including Main Rd, Salford Rd, Chapel St and Leachfield Rd

Further rainfall is forecast through Sunday 09/02/20 morning . We expect river levels to remain high until midday on Sunday 09/02/20
We are closely monitoring the situation, our incident room is open. Our incident response staff are checking defences and clearing weed screens.
