Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Flooding is expected tonight into the early hours of Saturday. Heavy rain has fallen in the area which has caused the River Dart to rise, and the river is forecast to continue rising. Properties and low lying areas around Riverside and Netherton Cottages, Staverton Bridge and Town Mills areas of Staverton, will start to flood first. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated Saturday morning or as the situation changes.
