Flooding expected. Take action now.
Levels on the Upper Dearne have peaked, however levels on the lower part of the catchment remain high. The River Dearne at Adwick remains above the flood risk threshold and therefore this flood warning remains in force. Please be aware that there may still be standing water and debris around so remain aware of your surroundings when in this area. Dearne Mouth Sluices are operating and our incident room remains open to monitor the situation. We do not expect any further significant rainfall in the next 24 hours and therefore river levels should continue to recede. This message will be updated in 8 hours’ time or if the situation changes.
