Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels remain high but are beginning to fall at the Chatsworth and Mytham Bridge river gauges as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding is expected to continue. Areas most at risk are Baslow, and Bubnell. Further light rainfall is forecast overnight. We expect river levels to remain high until 21/02/22. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.
