River levels are high and forecast to rise further on the River Derwent due to heavy rainfall. Areas most at risk include residential and commercial properties. Flooding is possible on 28/10/2021. Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of today keeping river levels high throughout the catchment. We will continue to monitor levels closely. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. This message will be updated tomorrow 29/10/2021, or as the situation changes.
