High river levels may lead to flooding.

River levels on the River Dikler are high but falling slowly. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today, 12 March 2026, including the area around Bourton on the Water. The forecast is for a mostly dry day today with light showers possible during the afternoon. Heavy rain is expected this evening and overnight. Friday is forecast to be mostly dry with a chance of showers. We expect river levels to remain high over the coming days. Levels remain sensitive to further rainfall.
