River levels are rising in the River Don due to persistent rainfall. Flooding in areas adjacent to the river, such as Savile Street, is possible this afternoon, Friday 20th October 2023. As rainfall is expected throughout today, river levels are expected to remain high.
Our incident room is open, and we are closely monitoring the situation.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions and consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
