Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high at the Egginton river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. We expect flooding to affect properties around Blacksmith's Lane, Duck Street, Fish Pond Lane, Church Road and Main Street.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until tomorrow, 07/01/2025.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths and bridges near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated by 10:00 on 07/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
