Flooding of low-lying land and roads remains possible.
Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads along the River Ecclesbourne around Duffield. Access maybe affected for parts of Snake Lane, Duck Island, and Wirksworth Road. Persistent light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Duffield Gauge are forecast to rise until Friday afternoon 06/02/26. Levels will remain high until Saturday 07/02/26.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
