River levels are currently peaking and the potential for flooding remains today, 15 December 2025. Locations most affected will be the river Ehen at Egremont, Bleach Green, Ennerdale Mill, Bridge End, Vale View, Wood Bank and the Rugby Club. There is no significant rainfall forecast today. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 17:00 on 15 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
